The place to go if you want to learn about the history of America's space program. I was very impressed. One can learn the basics and gain the superficial understanding. Or, if you were so inclined, you could go in-depth and learn about the technologies. The launch pad equipment, the lunar module processes and procedures, and rocket engines, with a strong emphasis on the last. Each generation of engine, the differences, the risks, specifications and more.

If you are at all interested in plants, this is definitely worth a visit. We are visiting from Houston, and spent a wonderful couple of hours roaming around seeing plants we can't grow in our area, or plants that are smaller or bigger than in our area. My mother loved the day lily garden, and both of us were entranced by the herb garden. So well laid out and taken care of! My son loved all the little side trails and neat little nooks.

My wife and I went to Huntsville recently to meet some friends and wanted to do something else before they arrived. We found Burritt on the Mountain. What a pleasant and interesting place to visit. The day we went there was a gentle breeze blowing that made it cool and delightful while we roamed the grounds. The view overlooking the city was so picturesque. There were several innovations that Mr. Burritt designed for his mansion that were intriguing.
