Here’s The Deal:
The U.S. Space & Rocket Center (USSRC) is a Smithsonian Affiliate and the Official Visitor Center for NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center. They have one of the largest collections of rockets and space memorabilia on display anywhere in the world. Most of those visitants have been from out of state or from foreign nations. Their Spacedome IMAX Theater brings you to several worlds with amazing documentary films like Hubble. Live demonstrations in the Discovery Theater will have you viewing space science in an entirely new light. In the park, guests can experience 3Gs of centrifugal force aboard a G-Force Accelerator, see a Boeing CH-47D Chinook and other military hardware, as well as view a mock-up of the Apollo 11 landing site, including a model of the lunar lander and planted American flag on the cratered surface. U.S. Space & Rocket Center affords free admission for children ages four and under.

The Huntsville Museum of Art is a non-profit public corporation founded by the City of Huntsville, AL, and administered by a city-appointed Museum Board. Its mission is to bring people and art together through collecting, preserving, exhibiting & interpreting the highest quality works of art. The Museum’s 75,034 square foot facility is located in Downtown Huntsville and includes fourteen galleries covering 20,000 square feet. The permanent collection of the Huntsville Museum of Art is comprised of over 3,200 objects, primarily focused on 19th and 20th-century American art with an emphasis on art from the Southeast. The Museum acquired the prestigious Sellars Collection of Art by American Women, a landmark gathering of over 400 paintings, drawings, and sculptures that heralds the achievements of more than 250 American women artists active between 1850 and 1940.

The Huntsville Museum of Art is a non-profit public corporation founded by the City of Huntsville, AL, and administered by a city-appointed Museum Board. Its mission is to bring people and art together through collecting, preserving, exhibiting & interpreting the highest quality works of art. The museum seeks to foster an understanding of the visual arts and appreciation of artistic achievement. Almost 40,000 pupils visited the museum during a taste for splendor, Russian Imperial, and European Treasures from the Hillwood Museum. In addition to its displays, the museum offers art classes for kids and adults, lectures, special programs, and musical shows that add extra dimensions to the artwork. The Huntsville Museum of Art offers free admission for members and children age six and under.
