“Dr. Ljiljana Plisic graduated from the Sophie Davis School for Biomedical Education and earned her medical degree from New York Medical College in 1984. She completed her residency training at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital in New York City. Dr. Plisic is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and undergoes annual re-certification. She is also a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She holds the positions of Attending Physician at Yale-New Haven Hospital and Associate Professor at Yale University School of Medicine. She actively participates in professional societies, including the Connecticut Medical Society and the New Haven Obstetrical Society. Her dedication to teaching was recognized with the 2007 Temple/Women's Surgical Award for Teaching. She has a special interest in Complementary Medicine and specializes in menopause and perimenopause. Dr. Plisic serves as a Director of Ultrasound at County Ob/Gyn.”
