SHARON WOODS REVIEWS
Visiting in the AM makes for a beautiful walk! There are 6 trails (paved & unpaved) - 3 under 1 mile and the rest 1 mile+. The longest trail is the Multipurpose Trail (3.8 miles) which loops around the park. I visit first thing in the AM, leave by 8, and the trails aren't heavily trafficked. Another plus about taking a morning walk here is all of the wildlife you see, like deer, squirrels, and bunnies. One morning I saw more than ten bunnies within 30 minutes. Sharon Woods is great because you have multiple trails to choose from, making each visit unique. Visit during sunrise, you won't be disappointed!
Beautiful park, easy to navigate and the walking trails are really nice. There are plenty of benches and picnic tables throughout and nice playgrounds for kids. Most of the trails are very short (less than a mile) but one or two are longer. Very well kept with grass maintained and very clean. There is a small lake with picnic tables for a pretty view.
It's a great park. Very large and lots of walking trails. Play sets are scattered around the park. The small lake was fun for the kids to throw rocks and sticks into. The natural play erea is a lot of fun as well. I come to the Columbus area about once a year and will definitely visit the park every time.

BLACKLICK WOODS METRO PARK REVIEWS
Biked there on the Greenway Trail from Three Creeks Metro Park. Only got to see a small portion of the park, but what we did see was great. Trails were well kept. Beautiful path from the parking lot to the nature center with overhead hanging lights. The nature center was small, but very nice. Friendly staff/rangers. The aquarium had some bluegill and a map turtle. The viewing windows are wonderful.
Nice walking paths, 2 really good playgrounds. Bathrooms available for public use near the playgrounds. We also visited the nature center which is really nice, with lots of things for the kids to do and plenty of bird watching. I did t take a lot of photos as we just enjoyed being out and looking at the animals.
Always a nice walk with plenty of bird and squirrel watching at the nature center. We also love the peacefulness of the lake. There are hawks and deer along the trail of catch the right time too.

We recently moved and this was my first time visiting. It was very clean and the signs were visible and easy to follow. That means a lot when you’re new to the trails. There was plenty of trash cans so I think that helped keep the trash off the trails. They had maps available as well. Parking was plentiful. They had a drinking fountain for humans and for dogs! It was a beautiful day for a hike and a beautiful location.
Nice recreation area. Multiple trails, clean facilities and lots of parking space. Even met some wild turkeys in the forest. Will definitely come back to this one.
