Ohio Statehouse has been home to state government since 1857. This magnificent Greek Revival structure was begun and completed in 1861. The statehouse is recognized as one of the early republic's most famous architectural achievements. The Greek Revival Doric structural features and proportions offer the impression that the first State legislature deserves permanence, beauty, and grandeur. It offers guided tours for Grade 4 and up to school groups. It affords free guided tours weekdays on the hour from 10 am-3 pm. You can enjoy the cafe and museum shop. The Kelton House Museum & Garden was built in 1852. The House has been restored from the 1800s with Victorian treasures from the Kelton estate. It provides a unique atmosphere that will create an exceptional event for you. The museum offers a continuous house tours service, special activities, and educational opportunities.
