The Greek Revival Doric structural features and proportions offer the impression that the first State legislature deserves permanence, beauty, and grandeur. Ohio Statehouse provides guided tours for school groups. The statehouse grounds contain two other buildings, the Judiciary Annex or Senate Building, and the Atrium; the three are collectively directed to as the Ohio Statehouse into the present day. Convenient underground parking is available. The statehouse's outstanding architecture has earned it several landmark designations, including as a National Historic Landmark.
