"Schiller Park has over 23.601 acres of parkland. The park has a beautiful garden, mature trees, beautiful landscaping, and several paths to accommodate joggers or walkers. The park hosts several concerts, festivals, and free Shakespeare performances. Schiller Park has recreation centers, picnic areas, softball diamonds, floral displays, a gazebo, a fishing pond, and a stage. Schiller Park is a great place to see people walking, jogging, and dogs and kids playing in the evening. There is fantastic architecture in the surrounding homes in the park and a wonderful sculpture installation. The park has plenty of parking. It is also wheelchair accessible. Free entry for all visitors.

The park has sports fields, including paved areas for basketball and football. Goodale Park is an open park with ponds and grass, and it hosts many live programs during the summer.
