Franklin Park Conservatory features exotic plant collections, seasonal art and nature-based exhibitions, outdoor gardens, and Dale Chihuly artworks. Columbus Zoo and Aquarium aims to make a lasting impact on animal conservation and well-being both locally and globally. The zoo was ranked as the number one zoo in 2012. The zoo is home to more than 7,000 animals and 800 species. The land lies along the eastern banks of the O'Shaughnessy Reservoir on the Scioto River, at the intersection of Riverside Drive and Powell Road. The animal attractions are split into world regions, with eight currently in operation. The zoo also has an 18-hole golf course and Safari Golf Club, covering 56.66 hectares (140 acres). Columbus Zoo and Aquarium has donated more than $3.3 million to more than 70 programs in 30 countries over the last five years.
