Houston Arboretum & Nature Center is a 155-acre urban green space offering nature trails, exhibits, workshops, and events in various habitats. The park's wildlife habitat includes a bird and duck pond, an aquarium, and various animal exhibits. There are some farm animals and birds that you can see. It is very family-oriented, with grills for picnics or barbecues. Ample parking, restroom & trash facilities are available. Houston Arboretum & Nature Center is a perfect place to spend time with family or even alone time.

Here’s The Deal:
Terry Hershey Park is a country park covering 500 acres and includes some of Texa's most scenic bicycle and off-road trails. It consists of many paths used by walkers, runners, some paved and some unpaved ones. It maintains a network of paved asphalt paths. The park has bathroom facilities and potable water. It has a track of more than 30,000 miles. The paved paths are situated in the park's cleared section, free from plants, and are about 10 feet wide. It is 496 acres, with trails of over 12 miles. The park provides a variety of recreational and walking opportunities for the visitors. Terry Hershey Park also provides trails from barker dam (near state highway 6) to Texas Beltway 8 and the Sam Houston tollway over 10 miles. Pets are allowed along with the visitors.

Here’s The Deal:
Buffalo Bayou Park has a green area of 160 acres, with views of Houston's skyline, a waterfall, and a bike park. The park is starting from Shepherd Drive to Sabine Street between Allen Parkway and Memorial Drive. The park provides walking, running, or cycling along the waterway and features several parks and historic areas. It has over 400 public car park spaces that are available on weekends. The general American site temporarily offers free parking for park visitors on weekends. Buffalo Bayou Park can rent bikes, kayaks, and canoes are permitting. It also has perfect places to barbecue, relaxes, and enjoy outdoor activities for the tourists. You can also enjoy the new art installations around the park.
