Got here on a a Tuesday, right at 9am when opened and SO glad we did! First time here since moved to Texas and we will definitely be coming back weekly at opening hours. Coolest zoo I've ever been to. We spent three hours here looking at animals eating breakfast and playing on amazing kids playground with little crowds and almost every animal up close waking to play and eating breakfast. No line when we got there but when we left the line was CRAZY! Apparently Tuesday has free kids day after noo

Art exhibits are great enough when they feature interesting and unique pieces but when the proprietors of these exhibits set the admission price at $0, they enter a new level. The Menil Collection is completely free and features blocks and buildings worth of different art mediums that can be enjoyed for hours. Touring Minute Maid Park in Houston was a wonderful experience. Our tour guide was a huge baseball fan and we had fun sharing baseball stories. As far as the stadium goes, it has had many names, but as of June, 2002 it is now known as Minute Maid Park. Its largest entrance to the park is inside what was once Houston's Union Station, and the left-field side of the stadium features a railway as homage to the site's history.
