TOP 3 DISCOVERY GREEN REVIEWS
Whatever the occasion or season Discovery Green is the place to be to meet with family, friends, a/o date. There are a couple of restaurants available on site as well. Great for children. Plenty of space for them to release some energy. I cycle and mini moto ride to this area. During the day is nice but at night, let me say oh wow. You can bring a towel or blanket to have to sit and eat listen to your music. The parking may be a tight squeeze depending on current events there or surroundings businesses and time of day or if it’s a weekend get there early or super early. Have fun ya’ll.
If there were a heart of Houston, I'd pick this or Herman Park. It is a large open space that hosts something new almost every weekend. Next to the convention center and stadium with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Parking is supported by local garages and some street parking if you're lucky.
Very nice park. Lot of room to play and fun playgrounds for kids. If you come with kids bring a sheet of cardboard to slide down the grass hill. Also just a nice walking area after dinner or lunch. If you like to roller skating they have fun rink and skate rentals.

Great location for family events. There are plenty of shelters for reservations and also some that do not require reservations. There is plenty of open space for the kids to run around and play. There are multiple play areas throughout the park. Some of the bathrooms are not as clean as others. This park is located off of Lake Houston, so many people bring the jet ski, small boats, and other water affiliate things to enjoy the lake.

Nice park, kept clean and amenities are nice. Bathrooms are in fair condition. Second time here and the experience was no different either time.
