DISCOVERY GREEN REVIEWS
Such a fun little piece of green in the midst of the hustle and bustle of downtown Houston. Our kids are too old for the playground but it looked super fun. The splash pads are a great addition to the hot Texas air. There are also small enclosed areas to let your dog run free. Plenty of great Instagram worthy photo spots. Plenty of shade under beautiful trees and an all around fun decent sized park. Highly recommend for any and all ages!!
Neat little park in the middle of downtown. Had something for everyone, kids were playing, families walking around, and singles. There is a cafe and clean public restrooms here too.
One of my favorite places to venture/ take my mom for walk. Beautiful and interactive it fits its name. The only thing is super crowded on weekends with difficult parking. I like going on week days. It could use more florals and parking would be the only thing.

LEVY PARK REVIEWS
Levy Park is my favorite park inside the loop. It's tucked away between tall buildings and only a couple blocks from highway 59, but it's enough to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. I come here mainly for Taichi in the Park classes on Friday mornings. This is a wonderful partnership between Blue Dragon Taichi and Levy Park dating back several years. The cherry on top is walking across the street to grab fresh coffee from Slowpokes. Hard to think of a better way to kickoff your weekend.
Super fun park to take the kids to with lots of stuff to climb on. There is also a place you can rent for parties. There are even free classes like Zumba that take place on a covered open patio area. Also have slowpokes right there for food and coffee
Hidden gem in Houston. My son loves this park. They have great events year around. The security guard on site is a plus.

ALEXANDER DEUSSEN PARK REVIEWS
I love it. This park is super organized and clean. It has kids parks everywhere. It has covered picnic tables and a lot of pavilions. Pavilions look very neat and big. You can do fishing, kayaking, and boating. So many options that you can do as a activity. It has wildlife too. We saw turtles, snakes and fish. Your kids will love it. If you go near to lake place is very nice and breeze is good. If you stay little inside of the park, it gets hot. Restrooms are okay. There are some peacocks around the place we were sitting.
I have been to this park on several occasions mostly for parties. The park has many pavilions they are numbered and I saw numbers as high as 16 but there may be more. And lake access the views can be very nice if the weather is right. Great place to unwind or celebrate with friends.
Big and spacious!!! Plenty of activities and easy access to the water. Enjoyed a car meet recently. Very friendly people and nice cars.
