Wyandotte County Lake Park is a tranquil 1,500-acre natural area with picnic shelters, hiking, horse trails, boating, and fishing. There are many shelter areas in which most of them have playground equipment of some kind. All the spots have shelters with tables and grills. Wyandotte County Lake Park is an excellent place for hiking, mountain biking, fishing, and paddling. On the west side of the park, there is an off-leash dog park.

Kaw Point Park is a great place to look at the scenery and walk around. It has access to highways, the Lewis and Clark Heritage Trail, and two great rivers. The park also has a lot of room and a lot of restrooms. You can take the heritage trail onto a walking bridge that crosses over the river. Kaw Point Park has a beautiful infrastructure for visitors and features an outdoor amphitheater equipped with electricity for performing arts and special events.

Its trail system includes about 4 miles of singletrack and natural surface trails. Rozarks Nature Trail is almost entirely volunteer-built and maintained by Rosedale Development Association and Urban Trail Co. Rozarks Nature Trail is acessible even in weekends to spend your day with friends, and family.
