WYANDOTTE COUNTY LAKE PARK REVIEWS
Nice park to visit for an afternoon away from the city. I had a wonderful time at Wyandotte County Lake Park. It is a natural oasis with a 400-acre lake and a 1,500-acre wooded area. There are so many things to do and see here, such as hiking, biking, horse riding, fishing, boating, picnicking, and playing. The park is well-maintained and has 16 shelters with water, electricity, picnic tables, restrooms, and playgrounds. I also visited the Korean-Vietnam War Memorial, which was very impressive and touching. The park is just a five-minute drive from the Village West area, so it is very convenient to get to. I highly recommend this park to anyone who loves nature and outdoor activities. It is a great place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the seasons.
We attended a wedding at James P Davis Hall. Stunning view of the lake and beautiful venue! The hall is large and rustic- perfect for a wedding. (Looks like a "Viking Hold"!) There was plenty of room both inside and outside. We had the ceremony outside and the reception (good food and dancing) inside. We used the large additional room adjacent to the ample kitchen as a playroom for the kids. Great memories made here!
Dog-friendliness: I love the huge leash free dog park. I have been taking my dogs there for years.

Kaw Point Park is a top-rated hiking trail and a great place to look at the scenery and walk around. The park has access to highways, the Lewis and Clark Heritage Trail, and two great rivers. The park also has a lot of room and a lot of restrooms. Kaw Point is located in the heart of metropolitan Kansas City, with a stunning view of downtown, but the Point itself has been left in its natural state, with magnificent forested trails, wildflowers, and wildlife. The park, which is located along the river, has easy access to highways, the Lewis and Clark Heritage Trail, and two magnificent rivers. This easily accessible park features a big visitor infrastructure and an outdoor amphitheater with power for performing arts and special events.

KAW POINT PARK REVIEWS
Great place to go for a Morning walk and take it a mix of city and nature feel. It has a River front Bike trail and a boat ramp that looks like a lot of fisherman use. The entrance was a little confusing. go until you see the sign as right outside the park is a large Factory building.
A beautiful place & respite from the busy city. You can rest on stones honoring people in a mini forest just a stone throw from the river. These are photos of some wild flowers in an on going preservation.
This is a nice little park it’s nice to see people taking care of it I need to come back in the spring time And those bird paintings where done by my kids 19 years ago

ROZARKS NATURE TRAIL REVIEWS
What a fantastic trail! So this is clearly a hiking trail but a lot of folks seem to use it for mountain biking. There's even a trail loop down near the bottom of the hill for mountain biking/parkour. I had such a great time there with my friend! I will absolutely be back. To say that I'm embarrassed that I didn't know about this park until just yesterday is an understatement!
It's a nice trail area, but just fyi the paths can be very narrow and steep at times. Also a lot of bugs, so be sure to wear bug spray ????
Beautiful oasis in the middle of town. Looking forward to going back in the Spring.
