“Wyandotte County Lake Park is a peaceful 1,500-acre natural area with picnic shelters, hiking, horse trails, boating, and fishing. The total length of the trail is 10.4 miles, which is generally considered an easy to moderately challenging trail route. The elevation gain of the trail is 1322 feet. The trail is loop type. The time taken to complete the total trial is approximately 4 hours and 21 minutes. There are many shelter areas, and most of them have playground equipment. All the spots have shelters with tables and grills. Wyandotte County Lake Park is excellent for hiking, mountain biking, fishing, and paddling. On the west side of the park, there is an off-leash dog park.”
