Strawberry Hill Museum & Cultural Center was started to support, promote, and maintain the ethnic history that is widespread in Kansas City. Children’s Mercy Park is home to Sporting Kansas City of Major League Soccer. The stadium can accommodate 18,467 people, but can be enlarged to 25,000 for concerts. The 2011 Group C finals were the first international matches held at Children's Mercy Park. Most SKC games attract around 21,000 spectators due to different stadium configurations. The planned site for the stadium was cleared to prepare for infrastructure. The stadium is the only one where the U.S. men's national soccer team has played all three games in the same year. The stadium offers a variety of services and accommodations. Wheelchair-accessible areas can be found in Children's Mercy Park.

Kansas Speedway is a 1.5-mile oval track that hosts various racing series, including NASCAR, IndyCar, and the IMSA SportsCar Championship. The speedway's paving began in September 2000, and it was finished in early 2001. All three of NASCAR's national touring series have been held at Kansas Speedway. The speedway constructed the $380 million Penn National Gaming Hollywood Hotel and Casino at the track. More than 200 events have been held annually at the track. Kansas Speedway offers nonstop entertainment and action. Year after year, Kansas Speedway expanded its facilities. One thousand six hundred extra seats were added in 2003, and another 1,500 seats were added in 2005. Restaurants and clubs are also available at Kansas Speedway.
