The director checked with me several times to make sure the menu was what I wanted. Since I am gluten free it was very nice to have someone care about what they would serve. The tea room is bright and fresh, the food was good and plenty of it. It was a good value. We also arranged to tour the museum as it is large with lots of rooms when the nuns had it and managed the orphanage. Lots of history of that area and various ethnic groups have decorated rooms.

This stadium is a gem. I absolutely love Children's Mercy Park. I am not a big soccer fan, I don't follow it at all really but I do not mind going to see Sporting KC and visiting their stadium. The atmosphere is much different than that of a baseball or (American) football game. It's not too intense but intense enough. The crowd is typically very tame and yet give the right amount of energy and support to their teams.
