PARKVILLE NATURE SANCTUARY REVIEWS
Nice little Nature Sanctuary to get out and Enjoy the outdoors. Has multiple trail options but all were fairly easy and saw families on all trails while here. Will be back to see if I can see more wildlife activity when in the area as I came in the middle of the day. Not Dog or Pet friendly. They make that very clear at all entry points of the Sanctuary. Has restrooms but they were locked when I was here. Multiple picnic areas at the front and middle of the area.
Well maintained, clearly marked trails and good areas for kids to climb and explore without veering off the trail. It does get crowded on nice days and parking is limited. The waterfall trail is great, but the other trails have interesting views too and are less populated. Overall, the trails are on the shorter side so it's great for families or beginners.!
Had a great time here. Beautiful pathways! The natural waterway was very peaceful. The information signs were great. I would recommend the earlier the better, later in the day it did get busy. I dod see there was numerous signs saying to please NOT to bring pets.

LAKESIDE NATURE CENTER REVIEWS
My family and I had a great time here. The nature center is clean, the animals/creatures on display look like they're well taken care of, and the employees were very nice. The bald eagle was my kid's favorite. We hiked all of the little trails on the grounds and enjoyed a nice lunch in the picnic area. I would definitely recommend visiting!
Such a great, free, educational activity! My husband and I really enjoyed it and we had a fun short hike through the paths in the back. We are from out of town and felt it was well worth stopping to look.
Tim Winn was our awesome guide. He took us through trails and provided great information on what we saw. Beautiful day. Great butterfly garden and wetland. Inside snakes, squirrels, turtles, fish and large birds like bald eagles, owls, vulture and hawks including perigine. Loved it. Spent 2.5 hours. Highly recommend.

HIDDEN VALLEY PARK REVIEWS
Really neat hiking trail loop at just about 3 miles. Beautiful oak, hickory, and sycamore trees and a lot of it is not overgrown with honeysuckle which is a rare treat these days. Want to try it on a mountain bike as well. Definitely planning to return.
Love this park. The trail makes you feel like your not even in the city. Takes about a 1.5 hrs to walk at a slow to moderate pace and about 30-45 min to mountain bike it depending on your comfort level.
Beautiful wide open park, dog friendly, disc golf, paved (accessible) pathway, playground, and a covered picnic area. We stopped here on a road trip to let our dog out and we spent an hour hanging out. There are no bathrooms though!
