Erwin Park covers approximately 212 acres with 10 miles of mountain bike trails. The trail's total length is 14.3 km, which is generally considered an easy to moderately challenging trail route. The trail features an elevation gain of 159 meters and follows a loop-type pattern. The time taken to complete the total trail is approximately 3 hours and 4 minutes. The trailhead is very well maintained, safe, clean, and full of beautiful scenery. Erwin Park also includes spacious playgrounds and pavilions. The trail is a lovely place to picnic or sit down and enjoy the surrounding nature. Dogs are also allowed on the trails on a leash.
