Had to venture up here for jury duty and a very painless experience. Security checkpoint was quick and efficient, officers running it were very nice. There is an abundance of parking here, another definite plus. Made my way down to jury room and waited outside. Right before 8:30, a court employee came out and asked if we had the map portion of our jury summons. It turned out the 10-15 of us waiting were all excused.

We had a small wedding (20 guests) in the chapel garden within Chestnut Square Historic Village. The space could have held double that, easy. But it was perfect for our small, intimate affair. Kim from Chestnut Square helped us arrange all the details beforehand, and then was very helpful throughout the ceremony itself. The garden was beautiful and we got some wonderful pictures of our wedding. The whole experience was simple and stress-free. I highly recommend checking them out.

This is a lovely historic building, rich with history and staffed by wonderful folks who genuinely care about the city and this building's legacy. The rich, detailed woodwork, the fixtures, the appointments and the furnishings are all original. I recommend you visit (tours are given twice weekly and by appointment) to immerse yourself in this bygone day beauty.
