The park has over 216 acres of parkland, five play structures, a first-come, first-served pavilion, two lighted multi-purpose areas, and food truck outlets and spaces. The playground is designed for kids of all ages, abilities, and needs. Bonnie Wenk Park's outdoor amphitheater is home to several concert series throughout the summer. Lightning strike detectors have recently been installed. Each detector has a weather station and a public address (PA) system. There are special dog features, including a doggie splash pad and a 44-mile hiking loop.
