BONNIE WENK PARK REVIEWS
We’re visiting from out of state and came to this park for a quick play time with our toddler. The park is sprawling and beautiful. There is a massive dog park with a dog splash pad as well. They have what seems to be a small nature boardwalk through some trees that leads to a baseball field and a playground area with some restrooms. There is an elevated picnic area near the restroom building and overall it seems very well maintained. The playground is very kid friendly with rubber flooring and not too many high areas. There are several slides and several swing sets. Overall it was a very well maintained and beautiful park.
Bonnie Wenk Park is an absolute delight! I explored the pond, strolled the serene walking trail, and checked out the dog park – a perfect spot for a relaxing picnic. The tranquil atmosphere and fishing at the pond make it a 5 out of 5 location. Just a heads up: stick to the trails due to occasional copperhead and snake sightings. Overall, a top-notch park with a few slithery surprises!
This is such a wonderful park! It has a nice playground for little kids and great trails for running or walking. I like all the trees and I like that there is a building with restrooms. I also saw a dg park! All around good park.

ERWIN PARK REVIEWS
I loved going fishing in the pond! I caught 5 fish that were pretty big, I also love the trails and I just love the place! Just be careful of the trashcans because you might find a huge red wasp in one like I did when I had to throw away something, but other than that, the whole park is wildlife friendly, human friendly, animal friendly, etc. If your trying to find a place to bike, this is the place u want to go for sure! It's so fun here!
Erwin Park is a hidden treasure! I had a delightful morning stroll amidst the open plains, and the camp sites and pavilions looked fantastic. The bike paths are a great addition, and it's clear that this park is a popular choice. Can't wait to return with bikes in tow!
This is a very big park with all types of events throughout the year. Walking trails, bike trails, picnic and camp area.
