What an amazing place. So calming and peaceful. You'd never expect this in this location. We saw wildlife, water, forts made of sticks, forts made of tree stumps, forts made of trees, and so much more. It's places like this that show us that we can take care of nature. Be kind and respectful. Take garbage in take it back out. Take care of this beautiful place.
A mile walk around buff lake. Great place for walking/jogging. Lots of wild life around including Hawks, prairie dogs, ducks and signs explaining your surroundings. Great for kids over 3, had stick teepees towards the beginning of the trail! Picked up a few pieces of trash by the teepees with a garbage near by, clean up after yourselfs and others when possible please! ????
Hidden gem in the city. Roughly 2 mile easier hike with some steps and incline changes. Educational and informational stops throughout, and tons of wildlife and wild flowers. Loved it!
