BLUFF LAKE NATURE CENTER REVIEWS
What an amazing place. So calming and peaceful. You'd never expect this in this location. We saw wildlife, water, forts made of sticks, forts made of tree stumps, forts made of trees, and so much more. It's places like this that show us that we can take care of nature. Be kind and respectful. Take garbage in take it back out. Take care of this beautiful place.
A mile walk around buff lake. Great place for walking/jogging. Lots of wild life around including Hawks, prairie dogs, ducks and signs explaining your surroundings. Great for kids over 3, had stick teepees towards the beginning of the trail! Picked up a few pieces of trash by the teepees with a garbage near by, clean up after yourselfs and others when possible please! ????
Hidden gem in the city. Roughly 2 mile easier hike with some steps and incline changes. Educational and informational stops throughout, and tons of wildlife and wild flowers. Loved it!

SANDERSON GULCH PARK REVIEWS
Nice grassy park with lots of trees that provide shaded areas to sit and watch kiddos, or have picnic at. Overall, park has lots of birds, visible creek, newer playgrounds with safe equipmentfor kids, and basketball court. The only thing I would suggest is putting a sign near the playground letting parents and kids know that the slide and swings and other playground equipment is very hot in the sun. To avoid any injuries and possible lawsuits or cases. I'm glad I checked before letting my son go down the slide or on the swings.
Pretty and comfortable place to be. The terrain has variety, for different kinds of days at a neighborhood park.
Not very clean but lightly trafficked. They recently found human remains near it though, maybe not a good idea to be there at night.

ROXBOROUGH STATE PARK REVIEWS
I've been to Denver several times but this place was a first and I really loved it! The rocks are dramatic and cast beautiful shadows. We followed the trail to the overlook, which is an easy walk on gravel, and we took lots of pictures. There's a house along the way that appears to be a historic site but it wasn't open, it would have been fun to have visited the inside. The area is supposed to be especially beautiful in the snow with the white as a lovely contrast to the red rocks and also in the spring with green against the red.
We did the Fountain Valley loop trail and it was very easy steady incline in some parts. Beautiful views, lots of pretty wild flowers, and well maintained trail. There was a pretty long wait to get into the park but it was very worth it.
Had a wonderful time hiking at Roxborough. The trails were clearly marked and well maintained even during winter month. The carpenter peak trail took almost 4 hours from start to finish and is definitely recommended for beautiful formations and views.
