3 Best Amusement Parks in Denver, CO

My favorite amusement park. Every time I go I feel at home. Nothing matches atmosphere the smell and the fun. All the Roller coasters are classics and are super fun. The Flat rides are also super fun and there are a lot of one of a kind flats here too. The Lights at night are so pretty (Not all lights are working sadly like the tower, casino & the light house) The Buildings and signs are also super pretty and the way they were designed is so amazing. The Park feels like a trip back in time and its super cheap too. Lines are about 5 to 30 mins depending on the ride and the day you go.

Being a massive fan of Neon-signs and Art-Deco anything, this place was glorious. l loved all the neon glow and classic rides. My Dad wanted to buy a shirt late right before closing and a very kind employee went out of their way to get us some which was very kind and appreciated. Like most small parks it needs some love but thats also why I was happy to spend a little money here. To support its upkeep.

Nostalgia nostalgia nostalgia! If you are looking for art deco, neon signs and classic rides, head to Lakeside. The vibe is throwback fun and the price cannot be beat at a $20 wristband for unlimited rides. I highly recommend you pay the park a visit.

Awesome time at Water World. Very appreciative that they allow you to bring food/drinks in. What a lifesaver! We rented a cabana and the space was big and accommodating. The fridge and ice chest were convenient too. Water park is amazing. There’s something for everyone from the daredevil slides to lazy river to the themed (dinosaur+) rides. Our visit was on Labor Day-the last day of the season so it was pretty busy but lines weren’t too bad. Next summer on our trip to Denver we will plan on two days at the park. There’s no way you can do everything in one day. One unexpected aspect was the WORK it took getting around the park as well as hauling the inner tubes to the tops of the slides. Hilly terrain and just the ginormous size of the place was quite the work out. We will definitely spring for the express ticket ($85?). That apparently will get four family members and “a tot” to the front of the line quicker and you don’t have to carry the tubes. It’s not unlimited but seems well worth it. Can’t wait for opening day!

was so much fun. Didn't have to wait in line because I purchased my tickets on line. They had good spits for my 2 yr old to swim. Was able to find a good spot without a problem. Was nice we could bring our own food. Great experience.

I buy season passes for the last 2 years, will definitely buy them again next year. One of the best water parks I've been to. Lots of slides, lots of wave pools, decent food. My kids love it, we go as many times as we can every summer.
