The Denver Museum of Nature & Science is truly a standout attraction that offers something for everyone. The wildlife dioramas are beautifully crafted and lifelike, offering a deep appreciation for animals in their natural habitats. The gems and minerals exhibit is absolutely mesmerizing, and the space and dinosaur sections are always a crowd favorite. We especially loved the hands-on science activities and the rotating special exhibits, which keep each visit fresh and exciting. The planetarium and IMAX theater also provide amazing experiences that really elevate your visit. Staff and volunteers were friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to share fun facts or help out. There’s also a great café with decent food and plenty of space to sit and relax. This museum is a perfect blend of education and entertainment, and we can’t recommend it enough for locals and visitors alike. Whether you’re into astronomy, archaeology, or animals, you’ll leave feeling inspired and curious about the natural world.

I had an absolute blast! I went alone as I was on a work trip that rolled over the weekend and it definitely didn’t disappoint. Plenty of things to see and interactions along the way. The paleontologist in the Dino exhibit was just cute as a button and taught me a bunch of cool facts! It took me about 3 hours to actually take everything in and was a good walk if you want to get your steps in.

This is one of the best museums I've ever been to. The best thing is that there are many different sections, so there's something for everyone. The big exhibits change regularly, so you can go a few times a year, and learn about new things each time. The Angkor Wat exhibit is stunning, as are the gem sculptures by Vasily Konovalenko.

This was my first time at the Denver Botanical Gardens, and it was absolutely amazing! It’s like a peaceful oasis in the heart of downtown Denver. The grounds are beautiful and well-organized, with a winding path that takes you through the park. There are plenty of benches and hidden spots where you can sit and relax and enjoy the tranquility of the gardens. Parking was a bit of a hassle, so you might want to avoid peak hours. The parking garage is convenient but small, so be patient and prepared to search for a spot and wait for others to leave. If you get hungry or thirsty, there are two cafes on the grounds. I highly recommend visiting and experiencing the beauty of the Denver Botanical Gardens for yourself.

Lovely gardens! Although it was still winter, we were able to enjoy our visit very much. The highlight definitely was the palm house with all kinds of exotic plants. It feels like you are walking through a jungle. The orchids were blooming and the variety of flowers was wonderful. We also enjoyed strolling through the rest of the gardens, although most sections lacked flowers or color due to it being winter. I would love to go back to see the ‘romantic garden’ section when the roses are in bloom. The Japanese garden was our favorite outside section, so serene and calm. Beautifully manicured. Hopefully, we will return late spring to see everything in its full glory.

This is a small but mighty botanical garden. Lots of varieties! I loved the bonsai section. Their annual plant sale was very well attended. Loved seeing all the dedicated spots for pollinators.
