I would suggest going after a rainfall. It hadn't rained in a while so the water.level was down and less active per say. Nice trail. About a 30 minute walk. Would do wonders if the hauled off some of the trees that had fallen or set them more back in the fields or trees and not a long the paths. I'd say it would be a nice park if you had a couple hours to kill.
We had a lovely walk. A volunteer naturalist who was a retired Botany professor talked to us about the park's features. We took lots of pictures. There were benches pretty frequently along the trail. It had rained the previous day so water was running nicely. There are restrooms at the visitors center.
The spring, "Blue Hole", is a gorgeous color. There are 3 parts to the spring, with descriptive signs. Nice little walking trail. There is a neat little railroad track area covered with graffiti across from the Final Spring. There is also a wetland area with bridge. Great place to bring the kids.
