Jacobson Park is one of the most well-known and largest public parks in Lexington. It is a 216-acre park located in east Lexington. The park has a basketball court, playground, fishing, open playfields, seven shelters, and a splash ground. The park includes a reservoir used by the Kentucky American Water Company and Lakeside Golf Course. Jacobson Park has ample parking and is handicap accessible. The park offers free entry. It is a nice park to relax, walk with pets, run, ride bicycles, paddle boats, and disc golf. There is an amazing greenery space with a fresh atmosphere and a different variety of playground games, and beautiful scenery with many ducks in the pond.

Here’s The Deal:
Thoroughbred Park is a sizeable distinct park that makes it a year-round destination. It has over 2.5 acres of parkland. The park is a great spot to wander and to get some great photos. The park has 13 life-sized horse sculptures, including seven horses storming down a trail towards the winner's circle. Thoroughbred Park offers many picnic sites and art sculptures in an environmentally friendly area. There is a horse statue childrens enjoy and play around it. It is an excellent place to walk, do exercise, and jog. There is an open green space with stone benches for people relaxation.

Kirklevington Park is a beautiful park featuring a lake and playgrounds. It is one of the best public parks in Lexington. The park has two baseball fields, walking trails, four tennis courts, basketball, and skating. The park has a spacious area with beautiful scenery and outdoor gym equipment. Kirklevington Park has an adventurous playground, climb framing, and water fountains. The park has wheelchair access. It is an excellent park for pickleball, with 12 courts, walks & workouts. In the park, people play sand volleyball, run on a paved, windy trail, kids play on the swing and do exercises at different stations, and play baseball in a fenced field.
