Finally got to hiking Runyon Canyon for the full ~3 mile loop after years of living in LA and it did not disappoint! First part of the east trail was a fairly steep incline, but after that it’s a great scenic trail overall. The weather this day was certainly helpful in providing picturesque views of the city and coast. Definitely recommend for those who are up for a good 1.5 to 2 hour hike, including stops for some photos.
A must visit park in LA. Park has awesome views of LA. There are paved and unpaved trails in the park. I don't recommend going through all athe unpaved trail, it might be challenging. Paved trails are good for families and handicap etc. It's a long trail, so you may consider your timing accordingly.
Nice park with great views of LA city and surrounding mountains. It has trails that are well-maintained and looped which makes it easy to explore. Parking can be found near by the apartment streets.
