I always walk Salmon Creek trail, it is my favorite walking trail. I have seen swans, ducks, beaver, Nutrias, small snakes, frogs, Turtles (lots at turtle pond.) You can get a easy 6 to 7 miles. Many people walk this trail, so you feel safe to know you are not alone. Its beautiful and peaceful to be able to sit along the way. Trail is set up for bikes, strollers, wheel chairs, dogs on a leash (they ask people to pick up waste and place in garbage can), toilet at beginning (depending where you enter trail)and at ball field there are restrooms. There are 4 or 5 ways into trail. I am sure u can look that up. Its a wonderful trail to take family or just go alone. Love it there!
A nature park with paved and dirt trails to jog, stroll, bike or even ride your horse on. A good place to take your furry friends for their walks but there are very limited trash cans so you may need to carry your pet's waste bag awhile. I saw only 1 concrete table to sit and rest at so this park probably would not be good for a picnics or tired toddlers.
There's plenty of parking along 36th Ave just south of Creekside Dr on the right as you head Northbound. This trailer is a gem for walking, running or cycling and the trees provide lots of shade to keep yourself cool in the sun.
