What a great little nature preserve right in the heart of Huntington Beach! There are nice trails and lots of shade. cute little lake with mature willow trees. They even have a grove of redwoods in the preserve. They have a nice little gift shop and super clean restrooms. I would definitely recommend this place if you need a quick connection with nature. Saw lots of birds, lizards, and butterflies.
This place is great. Very pretty to walk around in. They have done a really nice job with natives and have created a lot of nice little spaces. Looks like a lot of learning opportunities for kids too. Just a heads up that the entrance is not actually where Google currently says it is. It is a hundred+ yards to the west (on the inside of the park).
This is a great place to bring the kiddos to learn about the awesomeness of nature. Or just come by yourself and stroll around the trails, find a bench, sit amongst the tranquility, read a book or just watch the clouds roll by.
