This is a great walking trail. It is a wide concrete path following the North side of the Columbia River. From one end to the other, round trip is approximately 2 miles. On a beautiful sunny day, a very nice way to spend an hour. During the week, no problem with parking, weekends can be a bit more of a challenge. You can also use the newly constructed land bridge to walk over to Fort Vancouver --- another really nice walking trail.
What a lovely dog-friendly walking trail right on the water! It looks almost like Cape Cod with all the shingled houses and clean beaches. I would definitely recommend on a sunny morning or afternoon.
Lovely stole 1 mile and a half one way from the parking area. You can also walk a trail from the historic burracks trading post. 4 miles well worth the walk!
