I recently hosted my bachelorette weekend at The Claremont Club & Spa, and it was an absolutely incredible experience. The hotel effortlessly accommodated our large group, making everything smooth and stress-free. One of the highlights was the sabered champagne greeting—a unique and memorable touch that made us feel instantly celebrated! We stayed in a one-bedroom suite, which was spacious, impeccably clean, and perfect for our group. The hospitality throughout the resort was outstanding—every staff member we encountered went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. One of our favorite moments was enjoying drinks in the Hilary Tenzing Room, a private space off the lobby bar. The ambiance was fantastic, and I had one of the best espresso martinis of my life! From the stunning property to the incredible service, The Claremont made my bachelorette weekend unforgettable. I highly recommend it for any special occasion or luxury getaway.

The Claremont Resort & Club is truly in a class of its own. From the breathtaking surroundings to the historic charm of the property, everything was exceptional — but what truly made it unforgettable was the service. A heartfelt thank you to Edward Roe, the General Manager, who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was flawless. His attention to detail and warmth made me feel genuinely valued as a guest. The concierges — Jennifer, Laura, and Jeanne — were fantastic: professional, kind, and always ready to help. Dining at Limewood was a highlight thanks to the gracious hosting by Florentino and the top-notch service from Michelle and Evangeline. I also want to thank Suzanna from housekeeping for keeping everything pristine and peaceful, and Jimmy, the houseman, whose friendly energy was so appreciated. This was far more than just a luxurious hotel stay — it was a beautiful, personal experience. I’ll absolutely be back.

My daughter made reservations for Mother's Day weekend with Dinner at the Limewood. It was truly the perfect get-a-way. The service, staff and patrons were friendly and accommodating. The only con that I experienced was there wasn't a microwave in the room after purchasing a pizza late evening that turned cold. However, the overall experience was great - I would go back again.

DOUBLETREE BY HILTON HOTEL BERKELEY MARINA REVIEWS

Wonderful location with beautiful views from the balcony if you get a marina view room. The restaurant doesn't offer room service but it was easy to place an online order to the Boathouse restaurant, and the walk to pick it up was short. The lobby has a 24 hour Starbucks machine that makes delicious mochas and lattes for 8 dollars each. (up to a triple shot.) The grab and go breakfast is not that great. It offers burritos, sandwiches, or a to-go box with a pastry, fruit, and juice. We love the location of this hotel and have been there multiple times. Will be back again and again.

Tanzania provided excellent service throughout our stay. Warm, helpful, and always approachable. She made us feel right at home. While the rooms could have been a bit cleaner rating a 3.5 stars, her hospitality made a big difference in our overall experience. Thank you, Tanzania.

I have to give the location 5 stars. The staff was phenomenal and the location was great. The restaurant offers some great dishes. The rooms are on the older side however all things considered it was a 5 star experience.

HOTEL SHATTUCK PLAZA REVIEWS

Christopher the night concierge was amazing and went above and beyond for us. We had to arrive at 3am and he was so accommodating and exceptional. The room service was prompt and delicious, still nice and warm. We participated in the Thanksgiving buffet which was very good with a wide range of options. The entire staff was welcoming to our furry kids and very helpful with any question we had. The decor was beautiful and I love the kids check in station for those traveling with kids. We stayed in a suite and it was nice and spacious with a lot of natural light at the end of a very quiet hallway. I also really appreciated the shower slip-proof mat that was optional in our restroom- I am prone to falls and the shower can be a bit daunting for me when I travel.

We booked this hotel as we were seeing a show at the Greek theater and it was walking distance to the venue and to restaurants and bars. It was really nice inside and the staff were great. We just didn't get enough time to enjoy the hotel and really just slept there. We would definitely book it again.

Friendly and accommodating staff. My wife and I enjoyed the attached bar/restaurant. The beds are very firm but overall not horrible. I would absolutely stay here again.
