3 Best Hotels in Springfield, MO

We had a poolside room (421) and I believe that truly made all the difference in the stay. The back of the room has sliding glass doors that lead to the water park, lounge area, and restaurant. My sons had so much fun with this. The staff were very friendly and helpful, from the front desk to housekeeping. Normally at hotels you have to request new towels but housekeeping came to our door and offered them which was very convenient. Breakfast was great and the restaurant was nice too. Really enjoyed having access to these options when you’re on the go for a tight schedule. I really liked that you could navigate the hotel easily as we were with a large party for a tournament and the boys wanted to visit each other. There wasn’t a need for an elevator as everyone was within walking distance, even though they were in different areas of the hotel. My only issue if I had to nitpick would be the location. Pretty sure many of us went to the convention center next door as the entrances to both there and the hotel are extremely close and hard to discern at night. I would like to note like other reviews that the showers had lower pressure than preferred but they were difficult to figure out at first. Once I was able to figure it out, I felt the pressure was nice and I was able to get hot water. My suggestion would be to maybe create a simple instructional guide to put behind the bathroom door for people who struggle to figure it out. Overall it was a great stay, we would definitely stay there again. I highly recommend it.

Great value for money hotel! Rooms were large, extremely clean, had a great nights sleep and it was way cheaper than anywhere else online. They have multiple large swimming pools, which are free to use for hotel guests, and the restaurant on site serves delicious food too! This is a perfect hotel to stay at for families, and a 10 mins drive away from downtown.

We’re so happy we found this hotel! It has a fantastic “60’s Vegas Vibe”! It’s a renovated Howard Johnson’s - updated wonderfully! Rooms are a bit small, tiny bathroom but the whole atmosphere makes up for any shortcomings of the room. Our room has a queen bed and a small balcony (2nd floor). The atrium with pool and fountains is where breakfast is served. Typical food made extra special by the setting. Highly recommend.

Met a friend here and the room was secluded and I didn't know the property went that far back. The room was very clean and good sized. They paid $100/night which is about the normal price for a room these days. My friend said they had an all you can eat breakfast included with the room and said they went down and ate an awesome breakfast and bragged on their biscuits and gravy. My friend was a little past check out time and I said well I saw the housekeeper and that was nice of them to not bother you and clean the rooms around you. I live right up the street from this motel and know Elvis stayed there back in the day and there is a special Elvis room decorated with all Elvis stuff. I've never seen it, but from what I hear it's really cool and something to put on your bucket list. When I've drove by the motel I always see tourists taking pictures outside and it's a popular place because Elvis stayed there years ago plus it's located on the old Route 66 which is St. Louis Street now. If I ever need a place to stay or have friends in town I would highly recommend this motel to stay at.

My husband and I stayed one night on our way back to Nebraska. Savannah checked us in and was very friendly, asking questions about our trip and expressing safe travels the next day. Our room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. There is a musty smell, but the motel is old (from the 1930s) and yes there are little dings and flaws but overall the room was very charming. The bathroom tile was retro. Tracy, the general manager, was on duty in the morning and was kind beyond kind! She and my husband told bad dad jokes. The location was convenient and quiet. There were lots of choices for breakfast including sausage, eggs, waffles, etc. We would stay here again.

This motel is retro and very comfy. If you need extra fancy this may not be your cup of tea but if you need a clean place to stay I highly recommend it. Staff was incredibly kind. The 2 Tracys at the front desk where beyond helpful. Rooms had everything we needed. Close to The Shrine and good restaurants downtown. We'll be back.
