What a wonderful, warm welcome the minute we drove up to the front door! The doorman/valet helped us with our bags, and Maria at the front desk got us our room even though we had arrived early. The view over the river across to the battleship is stunning. Love the room and the laid-back atmosphere of the hotel. Our first time in Wilmington - experiencing "southern hospitality" for sure! I'm so glad our conference is here. Can't wait to explore the boardwalk right from the hotel.

We loved our stay here. The team was gracious, friendly, and helpful from valet all the way through to housekeeping. The room was squeaky clean and so comfortable, and you can’t beat the view. The pool has a nice deep end so you have plenty of splash free room and plenty of room for laying out. I’m already planning our trip back and wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else.

Such a beautiful location - a Riverview room was beautiful, especially seeing the sunset over the river. Amazing staff, beautiful facilities with a lot of amenities. In walking distance to all the fun of the river district area but tucked a little bit away that late evening noises aren't a bother.

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay at Wingate. The front desk staff was very friendly and kind. Our room was clean and very comfortable! We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and hanging out at the pool (which was also very clean). The hotel is conveniently located and close to several restaurants and stores (also not too far from the beach). Our stay was worth the price and I would definitely stay again.

This hotel stands out for cleanliness, friendliness and comfort. Staff members were ALL helpful and smiles all around. Well run facility with everything you need at the hotel. Surrounded by numerous restaurants to choose from. Location is convenient to many attractions. This hotel is an excellent value. Plan to stay there again,

Amazing prices, amazing free breakfast, all of the employees were super nice, great service, very very clean, good location. Absolutely no complaints at all would 1000% stay again. They are quick to resolve any issues as well.

BEST WESTERN PLUS WILMINGTON/WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH REVIEWS

I am a Best Western rewards member and this is my first time staying at this hotel. The room is prefect. We booked a king size bed, shower only with microwave and refrigerator. The room was clean, the bed is soft and the decor is up to date. The hotel smelled really good as well. My daughter will be coming to college here. This will be the hotel we book when we come to visit. It’s also close to great food places and some good shopping.

Thanks for another great stay! Curtis and the entire staff are so polite and professional. The front desk staff/ the breakfast ladies and the housekeepers can't do enough for you. The hotel is super clean, and the breakfast is amazing. The beds are heaven! I stay here 3-4 nights a month for work, and it is always a great experience. Thanks Curtis and crew for another great stay. See you next month!

The room was nice and comfortable and very clean. The staff were all kind and courteous. The breakfast had a great selection. While we only stayed one night, I would definitely consider staying here again. Great location also.
