FRANCIS MARION HOTEL REVIEWS
I had a great experience at the Francis Marion over the past week while in town for a work conference! I loved the location being so close to the shopping and dining area! There is a Walgreens conveniently located across the street for whatever you may have forgotten to pack! Also, I accidentally booked my room for one night less than I intended. The front desk assistant supervisor was so incredibly kind and patient with me in helping sort out my mishap. I appreciated her customer centered approach with never making me feel like an inconvenience. Lastly, the man playing piano in the lobby was such a beautiful touch! Loved it all! Thank you for a great stay, great catering, and overall enjoyable experience!
Great stay at the Francis Marion. Beautiful historic hotel with lots of charm and great views. Staff was amazing and kudos to the person who came up with the idea for instruction on the shower. Highly recommend a stay at the Francis Marion when staying in Charleston.
This is a beautiful place. It is full of old style formal drapes, friendly staff, comfortable chairs and easy access. Lots of stairs if you want them, or elevators if you don't. A large fancy lobby, right on a main Street with lots of shops, restaurants and city sites. Love it!

BEST WESTERN CHARLESTON INN REVIEWS
The check-in clerk was so friendly and attentive to detail. The property is so well kept and manicured with nice landscaping. Truly a hidden oasis around the pool! There were ample parking spaces with large parking spots and comfortable beds. The continental breakfast was amazing with Muriel’s sweet smile and accommodating nature to make sure everyone has what they need. Truly a treat! I also love that they have a 12 noon check-out which allows the crew to be rested and ready for a day of travel!
Nice room. Had a desk and a little table and chairs and a pod coffee maker. Plus a second sink on the outside of the bathroom which was very useful, and not often seen. There were a few things around, restaurants a gas station and Walgreens about a mile or so down the road. However if you're looking for tourist sites or events you had to drive to them.
The only place we stay when working in town. Rates are good and location is perfect. Staff is very friendly and a convenient breakfast!

MILLS HOUSE CHARLESTON, CURIO COLLECTION BY HILTON REVIEWS
Other than requesting a room change and was told by someone in management it would make their life hard ( I am fine it the room could not be changed, the reason why was not customer centric in my opinion), and asking for a small table for our balcony room, and was told no, although other balcony rooms had tables, we had a great stay. Aldean was so nice at the hotel pool, and Mark at the pool bar, were engaging, helpful and friendly. Definitely their service was top notch.
Mills House was a really nice, smaller Hilton hotel. The room was small (but we expected that) but very clean and well appointed. The hotel is older but the accommodations are all updated. The location can't be beat. You can walk to everything in historic downtown ... many great restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Pool area and outdoor seating with fireplace were really nice, too. We had a great stay at Mills House and would highly recommend.
The location and charm of the Mills House speak for itself. The true hidden gem is the staff; they are fantastic. From the front desk to the Black Door cafe to the meetings/events team, our experience was wonderful. We had colleagues in from all over the country and they left town loving Charleston just a little bit more than when they arrived. Thank you!
