Stoney Creek Hotel Peoria

VERY nice hotel. Breakfast was really good. The biscuits & gravy was delicious. They also had cereal, scrambled eggs, potatoes, pancakes, bagels & yogurt. The pool and hot tub was huge and the perfect temp! The only issue we had was how crowded tbe pool area was. But that's to be expected in the winter with an indoor pool. My hubby and I went in at about 8 am before everyone else made it. The room was super clean and comfy and so was the bed! They also provide full size bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash in their wonderful shower! We will definitely be staying here again!

It is a beautiful hotel and very clean. The room we were in reminded me of being in a cabin somewhere in the woods. There is a kitchen (minus a stove/oven), a good-sized bathroom, beautiful decor, beautiful furniture, there is a door to inside the hotel and the outside also. Pet friendly, which is very important for us. I did not like the fact that my only windows looked at the entrance gate to a gated community. The headlights were a little bothersome when residents would go home. Other than that, it was great! I will go back.

I like the overall feel of the place. I would definitely like to take my family here. It's right by the river. It has a big pool and the hot tub was perfect. That hour between 10p.m and 11p.m when the pool area is closed to children allows for a few moments of relaxation for the adults.
