3 Best Hotels in Peoria, IL

Stayed here for a quick anniversary trip and everything was really nice. We liked the theme which made it feel cozy, the whirlpool tub in the room worked well and was relaxing, and the breakfast was a good selection. Sue F was especially sweet and kept everything freshly stocked for the food. My only complaint was that I really wanted a nice dip in the pool but the heater was out and the water was too cold to enjoy, and the hot tub was also out, but thankfully we had the whirlpool in our room. Overall, the service was great, including our front desk person who we unfortunately do not remember the name of (he worked May 27th in the evening); and the room was well prepared for us. We were really happy to choose this place.

This was a random find for us as we drove across the county and it was very nice. Dogs are welcome. The rooms and facilities were clean and quiet. It is located by the Illinois River, which is quite picturesque. There’s a dog friendly restaurant down by the river that had good food and rather chaotic service. It’s a short walk or plenty of parking. Sue F, the breakfast attendant was very accommodating. She offered to watch my dog for me while I ate breakfast (no dogs in the breakfast area). Highly recommend.

Beautiful hotel with amazing decor! This hotel feels like entering a cozy lodge in the woods. The rooms are spacious and it was the perfect spot for my family. They had a good breakfast selection and a lovely Oyster restaurant next door as well. My kids also enjoyed the pool.

This is my second time staying at this property within the last 6 months and I can honestly say that my experience has been amazing. The rooms have been clean, the beds are comfortable with large pillows and comfy sheets. My five-star review is entirely thanks to Daniel at the front desk. He was the epitome of professionalism—from his polished appearance to his courteous and confident manner. Daniel greeted me warmly and took the time to clearly explain all the amenities the hotel offers. His hospitality and attention to detail truly stood out. Thank you, Daniel, for making my stay exceptional.

Had a tremendous stay at Pere Marquette. Loved the hotel! Loved the atmosphere! Loved the amenities! The staff was super friendly! Everyone along the way was fantastic! Especially Lele at the front desk! She was a great help! Patiently answered all my questions with a smile :) Loved the goodie bags too! Kudos on the wonderful popcorn and king size candy bar! So much appreciated.

Excellent facility with many amenities. There is a concierge bar upstairs. A restaurant and bar on the 1st floor. A skywalk connected to the parking garage and also the civic center. The room and shower was nice. Good tvs, comfy beds and pillows.
