3 Best Hotels in Peoria, IL

We booked a corner suite with river view and it was fantastic. Service was outstanding. Love the delicious complimentary breakfast and the snacks plus drinks during happy hours. All the staff at the dining room were super helpful and had great attitude especially the cook who was in charge of the pancake and waffle station! Nate went the extra mile to help us at the dining room. Thanks all for a great experience at the Embassy Suites.

Andrew the chef was excellent! He had positive energy and a positive attitude. His performance was very rhythmic and organized. Not to mention the food was great! When I first saw the long line of people waiting for 1 man to take their orders, cook their food, and make their plates, I said this is insane; he needs help. Then I saw him in action, sweat and all. He knows what he is doing! 5 stars for Andrew.

My group really enjoyed the breakfast, I wish that I could have had turkey or chicken sausage since I don’t eat pork or beef. The omelet made up for it. The servers, Sam and Nate was kind and eager to assist in whatever area we needed assistance. Thank you for making our stay enjoyable.

Stayed here for a quick anniversary trip and everything was really nice. We liked the theme which made it feel cozy, the whirlpool tub in the room worked well and was relaxing, and the breakfast was a good selection. Sue F was especially sweet and kept everything freshly stocked for the food. My only complaint was that I really wanted a nice dip in the pool but the heater was out and the water was too cold to enjoy, and the hot tub was also out, but thankfully we had the whirlpool in our room. Overall, the service was great, including our front desk person who we unfortunately do not remember the name of (he worked May 27th in the evening); and the room was well prepared for us. We were really happy to choose this place.

This was a random find for us as we drove across the county and it was very nice. Dogs are welcome. The rooms and facilities were clean and quiet. It is located by the Illinois River, which is quite picturesque. There’s a dog friendly restaurant down by the river that had good food and rather chaotic service. It’s a short walk or plenty of parking. Sue F, the breakfast attendant was very accommodating. She offered to watch my dog for me while I ate breakfast (no dogs in the breakfast area). Highly recommend.

Beautiful hotel with amazing decor! This hotel feels like entering a cozy lodge in the woods. The rooms are spacious and it was the perfect spot for my family. They had a good breakfast selection and a lovely Oyster restaurant next door as well. My kids also enjoyed the pool.
