Dr. Joe S. Levy obtained his medical degree at the University of Tennessee Center for the Health Sciences. He finished his residency and internship in pediatrics at the City of Memphis Hospitals. Dr. Joe completed his training in Allergy at the University of Tennessee Center for Health Sciences. Dr. Joe is board certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. Also, he served as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Allergy at the University of Tennessee Center for the Health Sciences. In 1984, Dr. Levy started his private practice in treating adults and children for allergy and asthma. For more than 30 years, Dr. Joe has been providing the highest quality of diagnosis and treatment for patients with allergies and asthma. The immunologist is specially trained to diagnose asthma after a comprehensive patient interview, physical exam, and a lung function test. He specializes in personal attention and individualized care.

He is the former president of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, and the American Association of Certified Allergists. Also, Dr. Phil has served on the Board of Directors of the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. Dr. Phil is the author of over 370 scientific publications and is co-editor of the text Allergic Diseases. Dr. Lieberman's special interests are in the fields of asthma and anaphylaxis.
