Our favorite restaurant in Lincoln!! Try the soup instead of the salad! You’ll love it, but it is just a little hot for anyone worried about spicy. You must get one of their dishes with lamb because it’s amazing and tender. My personal favorite is the Lamb Bhuna and Michael’s is the Lamb Hyderabadi Biryani. For nonalcoholic try their Mango Lassi. Their mixed drinks are good, and their wine selection is phenomenal! The sommelier knows what he’s doing, so he can help you with anything, plus he’s just a really great guy. We have always had great service at The Oven and the atmosphere is versatile for a casual or classy outing. It can get pretty busy and sometimes parking in the Haymarket can be hard (unless you know the secret spots). For dessert the Mango Kulfi is delicious, really anything mango there is going to be great. This place is totally worth it, best Indian food I’ve had!!

My friend and I both got chicken vindaloo for lunch and devoured it. The portions were really generous, and our server, Gabriella, made this a 5-star lunch experience for us. I was tearing up from the spiciness of my meal, so she brought us some cucumber yogurt to cool off our palette. She also brought us a small bowl of soup to try, since we went with the salad to accompany our meal. Exceptional service, and a great dining experience all around.

Very good Indian food. Especially the naan. The real highlight is the wine list and the great sommelier.

TANDOOR INDIAN CUISINE REVIEWS

Tandoor Indian Cuisine is a gem! The food was mouth-wateringly delicious—every dish was a delight. We loved the spicy naan; it added a fantastic kick! The curry was fantastic, featuring just the right amount of heat, making it a perfect balance. The soup was absolutely perfect, warming us up with its rich flavor. The chai tea was soul-warming, providing that comforting touch we needed. And the mango smoothie? Delightful and refreshing! To top it off, everything came at a fair price for the whole family. We can’t wait to return!

I got a combination plate of three different curries which was awesome because I have never been to Tandoor before and didn't know which curry I should go with. Their food is very flavorful, and it was fun trying so many different flavors in one meal.

Amazing food. Definitely a step up from the downtown Oven.

First time eating here. The food was quite good. My table ordered a variety of dishes. The food was served hot and everybody was served at the same time. We ordered a combination of lamb and chicken dishes. The lamb was very tender and delicious. The prices were also in line with the quantity and quality of the food. While the food was amazing the atmosphere was not very inviting. It is very bright and doesnt feel warm and inviting. It is a full service restaurant that has a fast food vibe. With that being said, The quality of the food will definitely have me coming back.

Had an amazing dinner last night at this newly opened Nepali and Indian cuisine restaurant in Lincoln! The food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, the staffs were incredibly kind and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in, and the service was prompt. It’s exciting to have a place in town that brings the taste of Nepal and India together. A wonderful addition to Lincoln’s food scene. We’ll definitely be back soon. Highly recommend trying this place out.

A fantastic new Indian/Nepali restaurant. Best to keep in mind that every Indian kitchen has a different take on the classics from what you may be familiar with. The requested spice level was well moderated and a medium level produces a lovely spice heat and only lends to the overall flavor.
