CHAUHAN ALE AND MASALA HOUSE REVIEWS

Went here on a whim for dinner, with one other, what an Indian restaurant! The atmosphere, the food even the samandhi flowers decor, draperies and the old style pump faucets and gold painted brick walls in the restrooms reminded me of home. The service was impeccable. The food was just the right portions and perfectly seasoned. Just delish! Whoever thinks of making gulab jamun cheese cake! It was quite a blend. Or whipped paneer, so light and fluffy with boondi topping. This place is perfect for a date night!

My family is from NY. Home to some of the world's best Indian food. Chauhan is our favorite Indian food restaurant in Nashville and can compete with any of the best restaurants back home in NY. The food is amazing. The drinks are great. The staff is super friendly. We have visited twice and each time the place was very busy. Therefore a reservation is highly recommended.

Had a fantastic experience. Our server/bartender Jordan, was amazing. Made the night 10x better. We had the Goan Braised Pork shank, garlic naan, and saag Mac and cheese. Food was the best Indian I’ve have in years. Will definitely make a special trip just to come back.

One of my most favorite restaurants! Amazing Indian food that’s always served fresh with friendly service. The restaurant is always a clean, calm environment. Wait staff are always so kind and helpful. I typically order the Chicken Tikki Masala and it is amazing every time. The Gobi Manchurian appetizer is amazing and so are the samosas- the worst part is deciding which to order and we usually end up getting both!

This place was recommended to me. What a great selection of curries at the buffet to choose from. I loved all of them I tried, and they were just amazingly made. Great value here, and if you love Indian food, this is a must try place. Highly recommended!

This place was recommended online and we're glad we went. The decor and atmosphere were both excellent. The appetizers were great as well as the entrees.

SITAR INDIAN CUISINE REVIEWS

I was craving some Indian food and after researching a few places, the reviews led me to Sitar and I have to say it did not disappoint a bit. Everything from the samosas to the main course was delicious. The samosas were crisp as one would expect and the filling was just so amazing. It has pears in it if I remember correctly and it is just very flavorful. The sauce that accompanies it is also really good. Didn’t care much for the green sauce though. The garlic naan is a staple and it was very flavorful as well. The chicken Tandoori was also good. Very juicy and tender and I had jasmine rice with it and it needs no explanation, because it is just delicious. All in all I highly recommend this place and will definitely order again.

Number one place for Indian food. Pictures speak for themselves. Dined in and service was excellent. Speedy service with a smile. Most of the dishes are shareable so have someone get one meal and the other order another meal. Looked like there carry out was pretty busy with people coming in and out at a very fast rate. They do have plenty of complimentary parking in the rear of the restaurant. If you get a chance look into Groupon, it can actually save you some money.

Great place! Came several times. Love the complimentary dipping sauce, the shrimp pakora, the tomato soup, the eggplant dishes, and the lamb or chicken korma. The garlic naan is good. But samosas are too large, too filling, and not that good. I’d also like to see more beer options.
