Wow, just wow! As a Miami Florida native, I wasn't expecting to find a gem like Himalaya Restaurant in Ventura, California. But boy, was I blown away! The moment I stepped in, I knew I was in for a treat. The quality of the food was exceptional, and the flavors were a perfect blend of Asian and Indian cuisine. As someone who normally sticks to traditional Asian and Indian restaurants, I was hesitant to try something new, but Himalaya exceeded my expectations. The dishes I tried were not only delicious but also expertly crafted, with a great balance of spices and textures. I'm so glad I discovered this hidden gem, and I'll definitely be back for more in the future when I come back to California. Highly recommend to anyone looking to spice up their dining experience!

Wonderful food and great experience. I always leave there being satisfied! The veggie samosa is the perfect appetizer to start. I had the vegetable korma and my mom had the jackfruit curry as our entrees. Both dishes were so delicious, full of an inviting aroma to excite and satiate a ravenous palate. Before we left, they gave us a nice rice pudding treat. It was so delicious and full of flavor. I recommend this place. You won't be disappointed.

The food here was amazing. They have the best momo that I've ever tasted and the sauce pairs perfectly. My husband and I are always on the hunt for a good momo, we will make sure to stop in ever time we are in the area. The staff was very friendly and gave us a free dessert after we had a lovely conversation about the food. We also had a lamb curry, the meat was perfectly cooked. So not hesitate to give this restaurant a try.

Hidden gem for sure. Authentic Indian food and atmosphere tucked away on the avenue. Everything I have tried so far has been delicious, I can definitely recommend the Indian tacos (I know it sounds odd, your choice of entree wrapped in your choice of naan) and my favorite Aloo Tiki Chaat with extra sauces. Good portions with good prices, even when ordering online which I recommend as they seem to stay pretty busy.

The BEST indian place around! Staff are very friendly and fast with serving. Decor is beautiful and tasteful. Music videos being played really makes it a fun experience. Most of all, the food is top notch at a great price. Cannot recommend enough!

Everything was delicious! I got the bowl with chicken tikka and veggie korma and it was so so good, highly recommend. The staff was so kind and my food was ready really quickly. I will definitely be back to try the burrito!
