CLAY PIT CONTEMPORARY INDIAN CUISINE REVIEWS
It is one of the best places we have ever eaten. Tried multiple dishes sharing with people. Would have liked some more goat in the goat curry dish, but the flavor was great. If you need mild, just ask, and they respect that. The Nan was pretty good. One of our favorites was the new dish peppered chicken.
The food was excellent, we had the brussel sprouts, goat curry, chicken tikka masala, mango cheesecake, and a few cocktails. Our experience was taken to the next level by the service. Our server Olivia was perfectly attentive, personable, and informative. Will absolutely return to enjoy such wonderful food and service in a tastefully modernized historic building. Thank you.
Olivia was truly the sweetest, most attentive and fun server. She gave great recommendations and really just made the whole experience so much better. The food was also amazing!!! Everyone was incredibly fun and kind. 100% going back and gonna learn more history about the building as well.

TARKA INDIAN KITCHEN REVIEWS
I forgot how much I liked going to Tarka! The garlic naan is flavorful. The curry fries are crispy. This is where I started liking Korma as my favorite curry! It’s not going to be the most authentic Indian food you can find in Austin, but it’s a quick, clean fix of it. The shrimp and chicken are the same price, just $11.50, so it was a steal for the amount of tastiness you got in that bowl. Medium doesn’t have much spice but is still delicious. Service is fast and seating is spacious. Would come again.
Love love love this! If you are looking for a healthier Indian food option where you don't feel heavy after, this is the place! The Paneer Pakoras are a must and are incredibly delicious! The Masala Fries were good. The Saag Paneer was delicious also. Samosa chaat was flavorful. I love how light I feel after eating here! Excellent.
The food is very reasonably price. Went there to try some snacks and was pleasantly surprised at how good they were! I liked the chicken pakoras the best. Our order got mixed up and we had to wait longer than I would have preferred.
