QUACK'S 43RD STREET BAKERY REVIEWS
OMG their cupcakes are phenomenal! And I love that they are served cold. Yes! This is how you do it! And better than that, they even have vegan ones. This location has seating outside and is so easy to access, with easy parking options in the area. As a bonus, they are stellar members of Austin because they are part of Too Good to Go. Skip those other, inferior cupcake offerings in Austin--you must come here!
Service is not amazing but the food quality and prices are. Really solid coffee (cheapest cold brew in the area) and there's always a few interesting seasonal flavors. I'm a big fan of the cookies and savory pastries but I've only tried the cakes a couple times so I can't speak to those. There's plenty of variety with the sweet pastries and the shortbread cookies have fun designs. As of July 2022 there's no indoor seating which kinda sucks in the summer but the tables outside at least have shade umbrellas and they do a good enough job with packaging the takeout.
Ordered a graduation cake for my son and his gf and even though they both only wanted white lol (die hard chocolate fan here), the cake was amazing! The buttercream was so light and airy- not at all heavy or greasy tasting like others I’ve had elsewhere. The team was also fantastic. Highly recommend!

UPPER CRUST BAKERY REVIEWS
Very delicious sweets! My favorite was the blueberry scone but l recommend eating it with liquid. Also, I finally tried the strawberry danish and it was delicious! I wasn’t too much of a fan of the apple turnover, but that’s just me. The strawberry danish is has cream cheese center with fresh fruit. The apple turnover is a bit crunchy with some apple filling.
Friendly and very efficiently service. Got the cheese danish and sausage puff. A word of warning: the sausage puff is a pretty large sausage, so that’s 80% of the experience. A little meat-heavy for me for breakfast, but all of it was good.
Best cinnamon roll in town. Beautiful space. Great service. Accesible options. Classic and yummy! Excellent option to pre-order cakes, pastries and surprise your love one. Local local local!

SAN FRANCISCO BAKERY & CAFÉ REVIEWS
I can not give enough stars to this place. When we lived over 17years ago in Austin this was our favorite place. When we drive through Austin we stop and it is just the way we remembered it. John the owner is one of the nicest guys you could ever meet and he and has kept this place just as amazing all these years. The marinated carrots are such an amazing addition to their sandwich, and the bread so fresh. Their cream of asparagus soup is unlike anything I’ve ever had. It’s still a family favorite. 2
Hayden (likely misspelled) is very engaging and extremely helpful when trying to decide what pastries to select. The raspberry chocolate croissant is the best I’ve had in Austin and the menu savory and sweet is diverse and high quality. I was born in Austin but spent my youth in CA before returning home. This cafe is a reflection of what San Francisco offered once upon a time when it was one of the greatest cities in the world.
SO GOOD. I had the veggie sandwhich. Huge sandwhich with side of chips. Will definitely be returning. The coffee is strong and great too and they have pastries.
