E & V RISTORANTE REVIEWS
My family has been coming here for over 20 years. It has recently changed management but the quality and quantity of the food has remained. It's great for families but also romantic occasions. It is very hard to order sometimes because the favorites always hit so well but there are a LOT of options that can be just as good. Be sure to order the hot appetizer platter! There's also a decent wine menu to pair with your meal.
They had 2 big groups during our visit, us being one of them. There were only 2 servers due to being short staffed. We had a bit of a wait for things but it was great. We were able to chat and digest our food and not have everything crammed all at once, appetizers, entree etc. Wait staff did a great job making sure appetizers came out at the temperature they are supposed to be and that entrees were all delivered at the same time and hot! I’ve been to restaurants with more staff that didn’t do as great as these 2 did!
Was in town on business and went with a coworker who highly recommended E&V. They did not disappoint. Calamari was excellent, best I've had. I had the Veal Rollatini and it was excellent. Finished with a tirramissu and it was pillowey soft and fresh. On that night there was also a Sinata era singer who was great. All in all a great experience. Would definitely go again. Wished I lived in the area and could take the wife for a romantic dinner for two.

PATSY'S TAVERN & RESTAURANT REVIEWS
Stepping back into time with delicious food at Patsy's Tavern & Pizzeria in Paterson NJ, since 1930! Pizza, Stuffed Artichoke, Linguine with Broccoli Rabe & Shrimp, Meatballs, Long hots w/Sausage & Potato. No complaints here! I had to ask the owners permission to use a fork and knife on the pizza since it's not really "foldable". Permission was granted since this is against the law! Yes, it's Paterson, but I ventured there and would highly recommend it.
Went to Patsys with my parents who lived in the neighborhood 50 years ago and it was authentic old school bar pie at its best. Service was friendly and attentive. We ordered a plain and a garbage pie. The crust was paper thin and levitated it was so crispy. I always say some of the best food comes from local joints and this proves it.
Best thin crust pie I’ve ever had, drove all the way from Rockaway. It’s Thin and a bit well done but also doughy, they cook it just right . You can tell they use quality ingredients for the Pizza. The meatballs not so good tasted old and frozen . Since the pizza was so amazing I forgot about the meatballs.

I’ve been here over 3 times and I can definitely say the pizza is good. If somebody called me up and asked where could they get a good slice this Pizzeria would definitely be one of the options.
Love this place! Always fresh food and slices. Definitely ask about the pasta special, one of the top signature dishes.
