Their cooking skills and presentation are always excellent. Their menu has a wide range of gluten-free options. Benihana Las Colinas' is an assortment of appetizers, sushi rolls, and wings that are discounted during happy hour. There are plenty of alcoholic drinks that are heavily discounted for happy hour. "Maki Boy is a cozy little place with a bar to sit and eat on the fly. The restaurant is like being transported to a small sushi place in the back streets of Japan. This place has a large selection of choices, including some Korean and Chinese entrees. The atmosphere is a place where you would take your date. The restaurant also has indoor seating and a private dining area. They have a varied menu that offers many other options as well. They have a great and very long list of choices on the menu. You can get sushi, noodles, hibachi, and so much more. The customers can pick up their own drinks and side dishes. Maki Boy serves delicious vegan dishes and is family-friendly with high chairs available.

Excellent authentic Japanese small plates/tapas in an intimate setting. Staff were wonderful, we tried about 8 different menu items and all of them were fantastic! Definitely recommend the curry, ramen and takoyaki. Be sure to get there early, they only accept reservations for groups of 5+ and people will be lined up outside 15 minutes before opening even on a week night.

A tiny restaurant that serves authentic Japanese food. They only serve dinner, and it’s very hard to reserve a table. But if you walk in early, you can sit at the bar where you can watch how your foods are prepared. The waitresses are very polite and thoughtful. Due to my liver disease, stage three liver fibrosis, I can hardly eat anything. However, watching my son and my wife ate their food was very enjoyable.

Mr Max’s is a must go to!! Make reservations and take the time to go, it is well worth it! The service is phenomenal and so is the food. We will definitely be going back whenever we are in the Dallas area.

Maki Boy is everything you want in a simple Asian meal. The portions are huge, the food is excellent, and the entire place smells awesome! The fried rice dishes might need a pinch of salt or msg, but the textures, flavors, and oils are wonderful. The spicy pork might be the best thing on the menu. Tofu costs $3 extra as of November 2023, but there are vegetarian dishes even without tofu. Service is pretty lacking but that's their business model. You have to order at the front, then find a table in a very small area, and a cook will bring out your food. Nobody will ever check how you're doing minus water refills. That aside, it's an excellent place and I'd eat here any time!

Great food and atmosphere. Prices are great and show how good sushi doesn't need a ridiculous price tag. Had to go back a couple of days later to make sure it was not a fluke. Nope, it was good then, too. Florida and Texas roll are a must try!

Great dinner here last Friday evening. They were busy but got all our food out very quickly! Everything was great. I recommend the Monster Roll- delicious! Also, their hand rolls are really good and come with a cool presentation.
