3 Best Japanese Restaurants in Jacksonville, FL

Good little place on the Westside of Jax. Not nearly as good as Wasabi but a good place to go if you want to avoid the Southside traffic. Menu was more affordable but also less food to counter. Our waiter was semi entertaining. Definitely could have been better. Food was average at best. Steak a little over cooked to specification. Salmon was good. Chicken good too. Again, nothing to write home about. The Koy ponds and waterfalls were a nice touch.

My first time here but certainly not my last. Excellent location. The atmosphere is very nice albeit a little crowded. The service is top notch. The food {d was awesome. Best hibachi I have had in Jacksonville. I highly recommend. Still very good. The water feature is a bit much. It's so noisy you can't have a conversation.

Great place! Our chef was attentive, humorous and a good cook. We met 3 nice ppl. It was a good family outing! The sushi was fresh and tasty! Would eat here again but would wait for about 6 months. This is good to eat every so often but should be considered a special treat! The body needs more raw fruits and vegetables daily. Healthy eating to all!

Walked in for brunch and was greeted and sat by our hostess Khariyah who was super friendly! Our server Kyle was amazing! He made sure my peanuts and fish allergies were well accommodated and even said any substitutions can be made for me which is huge. After we ordered, our food came out maybe in like 15 mins but it felt fast! Starting off with the Domu chicken- 10/10, I was about to order more honestly. I ordered the spicy tonkotsu and my husband ordered the curry ramen and they were both SO delicious. The ambiance was warm and welcoming, the music wasn’t loud at all which can overstimulate me sometimes.

Domu is a staple restaurant for our family. Their ramen is just extraordinarily good. The Richie rich is a classic but all of their ramen is great. The noodles are so buttery and melt in your mouth. Another thing is their crispy wings appetizer. Wow those are some of the crispiest wings I’ve ever ate. A huge fan of coming back to try their rotating seasonal flavors of wings. Plus it doesn’t hurt that their drinks are good as well.

My favorite place to eat in jacksonville. I must’ve come here at least a dozen times! Absolutely amazing food! Their wings are top-tier, i dont even typically like wings but i always make sure to order some when i go. Fun atmosphere and the food always impresses. If you can, try going on a monday for their “build your own ramen” deal:)! Tons of fun unique drinks too.
