AKAIHANA SUSHI & GRILL REVIEWS

We had lunch here on a Monday. The inside of the restaurant is large and so they didn’t feel very busy. We sat at the sushi bar and had great service and great food. We usually order from here from GrubHub and this was our first time in person. The strip mall itself seemed a bit dilapidated, but the sushi itself was fantastic (as usual). I had the Lety in Love (with no cream cheese) and the Rose Royce. I loved the touch of bright lemon on top on the Lety in Love. These are new favorites for me!

Amazing happy hour sushi with huge rolls and quick service. Ordered a Sapporo beer, edamame, spicy tuna roll, and spicy salmon roll—all were excellent.

Super delicious as always, service is great! The flavor is great and the atmosphere is great! I love my sushi.

YUTAKA JAPANESE RESTAURANT REVIEWS

This is hands down the best ramen I’ve had in Phoenix! We ordered ramen along with an assortment of sushi, and everything was incredibly fresh and full of flavor. The broth alone is a standout—rich, comforting, and perfectly balanced. Definitely ask for the chili oil with your ramen—it takes it to the next level! The space is small and can get busy, but it adds to the cozy, intimate atmosphere and is well worth it. Service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and efficient. Also, the mojito was one of the freshest I’ve had in a long time. Such a great touch to an already amazing experience. I’ll definitely be coming back again and again.

Great food, big fan of the Real Ramen soup they have, delicious and very affordable. Its a must visit if you like Japanese food.

First time here..we enjoyed every second, every bite...omg, it is the best food! And Keagan, our server was more than amazingly friendly. We had THE BEST experience on our 3 day stay in Phx. We will be back as soon we having another trip from San Diego to Phx.

Intimate spot with EXCELLENT food. Highly recommend the spicy gyoza pot. The ramen was good, though the yakiniku and yakisoba were amazing. There were four of us with individual entrees and 5 types of appetizers for $100. Service was wonderful as well!

Great yakisoba noodles. Not overly saucy or salty - just the right amount. Pork belly appetizers were amazing - perfect char. Service was also very good.

Noodles are pretty delicious, both the yakisoba and udon. And the atmosphere is also cozy with Christmas decors. Recommend!
