“Tampopo Ramen specializes in ramen with housemade noodles, dumplings and pork buns. They are located on the Valley Plaza. They have a homely ramen bar feel, with spacious dining and a centralized tabletop area. This excellent Ramen joint in Tempe offers a great selection of ramen and appetizers that complement the meal. On one side is the kitchen, where the chefs work vigorously. You get to watch the chefs work their magic, and the little building it's in reminds me of something you would see in Tokyo. They have a television and accept bill payments via credit cards. Tampopo Ramen has high chairs for the kids.”

KABUKI JAPANESE RESTAURANT REVIEWS

This place was excellent in every respect, from the food to the amiable service. We experienced two new appetizer offerings on the menu; scallops and cod. Both were fantastic. The classic dinner plate for two consisted in a plentiful array of items, all to my liking. The pork belly appetizer and the miso soup were also delightful. The restaurant was full of people on a Saturday night and in light of the high quality it's a wonder there wasn't a line to the street.

The atmosphere was excellent, and the Alaska roll was incredibly delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my main course, which was shrimp served with rice, and it was also delightful. We visited another night and ordered a noodle dish, but I was surprised to find it served in a watery soup, which was not enjoyable.

We have always enjoyed this restaurant, though our meal today was exceptional. All eight of us enjoyed our meals. They seem to have a new, larger menu.

Oh man this place is fire! I have been looking for a food ramen place for so long and all my attempts were to no avail until yesterday! We stopped by and tried quite a few of their meals. I was immediately ensnared by all of the new flavors! Everything was delicious and we had no complaints! When I looked at the bill I was perplexed. The pricing is so low for the high quality food they serve that I am becoming a frequent visitor from now on! Thank you so much for your efforts I am so happy I found your business. It’s a real gem!

Visited this place during my visit in Summer 2021 business trip in Chandler, this place has the best Japanese Ramen i ever tried. The ramen is very delicious, the shop and seating can be quite packed but not to the extend of uncomfortable. The environment tho small, but comfortable and tide. Good cleanliness.

I'm originally from Hawaii and part Japanese so my expectation for Japanese food is quite hi! The food did not disappoint the atmosphere was amazing and the chefs did a great job of making the food. Highly recommend 10 out of 10.

Absolutely delicious food. The sushi is very very good and other dishes are also very unique. I went here with my co-workers and we absolutely Loved it. My friend had recommended this placed and we had a wonderful time. Because the space is small there is no way they can accept reservations so it based on coming and seeing if there is space. Weekends are the busiest time.

Seriously, I can't say enough good things about this place—it’s an absolute local gem! The food is consistently 10/10, and their happy hour, along with the reverse happy hour, is seriously decent. A huge bonus for me is that they even have -196! The service is always on point—friendly, quick, and just generally great. I just wish they'd open for lunch, like the North Scottsdale location does. That would make it perfect!"

Our server Annacey was the best. A lot of fun and got us what we needed quickly. Kudos to the kitchen for backing her up with some of the best sushi we’ve had in a while. Definitely recommend if you’re in Tempe looking for a good atmosphere at a great price.
