Great spot for a vegan meal. The espresso wings hit the spot and weren't too spicy for my weak tummy. Service was friendly, informed and fast. Will absolutely eat here again! Gluten free menu options are clearly labeled and staff know the menu well so they can help you choose from the amazing looking menu. Prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is chill.

This place delivers every time! I can’t wait to keep trying all their menu items. The vibes are always chill and welcoming. I’ve never been anywhere that had a vegan Big Mac and it was worth it to order for sure. My other rec could would the quesadilla.

Great food all vegan food! Food arrived quickly, the staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was cool with good background music.

This place was very good my husband got a ckn and waffle. I got a joyful plate was so delicious that I forgot to take a pic and be the time I remembered it was half gone I highly recommend this restaurant vegan or not very good. If you have any doubts you will not be disappointed I promise. I am vegan and I will definitely go back …..thank you so much for this amazing experience….

The cake is delicious! The food is phenomenal! My door dasher only grabbed one of the bags of food when I ordered from here on a short trip and so the restaurant hand-delivered the rest of my food along with a slice of cake just to be kind. :’) The people here are incredible and the food is no different.

Amazingly delicious food and a lot of variety. I love this place. Great for non-vegans too! I've ordered from them a couple of times and also went in person.

DESERT ROOTS KITCHEN REVIEWS

This vegan food is so yummy and unique, with an ever changing menu, made with local and organic veggies. Some of my favorites are the cheesy sunflower mac, kale salad and green goddess potatoes made on Wednesdays. The oatmeal cookies were yummy. Housed in a cozy quiet courtyard with the sounds of water and surrounded by plants, it's the perfect place to eat lunch. They even sell local makers items and art.

Really kind people with delicious healthy food. If you are looking for a quick, easy, healthy lunch place with a variety of options daily, this is your place! The salads, pastas, and pudding are absolutely amazing!!! So quick to walk over and get to go.

5/5 this is the vegan lunch stop of your dreams. gluten free friendly too! the food was flavorful, filling, and great portion sizes. I will be making this my go-to lunch spot when in Tempe.
