NEW MEXICO MUSEUM OF NATURAL HISTORY AND SCIENCE REVIEWS
A very well-designed museum and fun place to visit. You start with the formation of the universe, galaxy, solar system and Earth. Then you learn how life formed on Earth and the earliest single-celled life forms. From there you go through exhibits of the different periods of life and end at the current day with our battle against climate change. It specifically focuses on the history in New Mexico which is unique to other natural history museums you may visit.
Spent a couple hours looking at the exhibits here. Glad I did. They had a amazing collection of minerals and gems, a nice display of fossils and dinosaurs, and a few nice displays of meteorites. It was not limited to this and they had several other displays but these were the ones that I enjoyed most.
This museum has a great selection of a variety of artistic items. There are many events to enjoy and there is always a special exhibition. There is something for everyone to enjoy. The different exhibits depicting the history are so amazing. A museum is a must-visit place.

NATIONAL MUSEUM OF NUCLEAR SCIENCE & HISTORY REVIEWS
One of the best museums in Albuquerque, offering an in-depth history of nuclear sciences and other seasonal exhibits. This museum provides a wealth of information and entertainment for the family or individuals. The prices are reasonable both for admission and gift shop prices. The staff is very friendly and the facilities are well kept to include the aircraft exhibit in the back. The museum can also be booked as a venue for various events and has a theater for film viewing. Must visit for visitors and residents!
I really enjoyed visiting this museum with my girls it's located 5 minutes from Kirtland AFB and I found it poignant that in their display of women in nuclear science there was only one minority woman. I'm all about giving my kids exceptional experiences and this was one. We got to see the inside of a ballistic missile. I'd hoped to see a documentary on The Manhattan Project but it was too much for my 9-month infant. There are a lot of hands-on activities.
Way better than I expected. It wasn't very crowded for us on a Thursday. Tickets are good for 24 hours. Covers everything from the history, to war time use and peace time uses including quack medicine. Check out their website which will give you a really good idea if this is your cup of tea. Very educational.

ALBUQUERQUE MUSEUM REVIEWS
Such a beautiful museum! I really enjoyed my most recent visit, especially the "Visions of the Hispanic World" exhibit, it is well worth the extra cost. There were so many amazing pieces, and history is very fascinating. I also loved to see the collection of pieces that were created by New Mexican artists. This is an excellent museum!
This place is great! I love the Jim Henson Exhibit they have here! You get to see and read a lot of "behind the scenes" type stuff. They have the actual outfits that David Bowie and Jennifer Connely wore during the dancing dream scene. I still have more exhibits to explore in the museum the next time I go in and visit. The New Mexico art is must see!
This superb museum offers a terrific collection of local history with fascinating exhibits, a very nice collection of art, and notable rotating exhibitions. We caught the remarkable Mackintosh exhibition -- architecture fans should not miss! Sweetening the experience, the museum has very reasonable entry fees and a very nice gift shop.
