There are grassy areas for kite flying and other games.

Mariposa Basin Park offers three loops, 4-6 foot wide asphalt, horseshoes, and hardpacked dirt. The park offers a wide range of activities and events such as nature walks, general activities with play centers, and community groups. The park has a kids adventure playground, free table-tennis table. Wheelchair access is available.

Jerry Cline Park is the best relaxing place in Albuquerque. The park has path loops around the soccer field, tennis courts, and playground. Jerry Cline Park provides a toddler swing and climbing frame within a large sandpit. Jerry Cline Park has plenty of space to walk with grassy hills and trail.
