Ushers Ferry Historic Village provides the citizens with a venue for family-friendly activities, events, and programs that build community by showcasing the history of a small Iowa town at the turn of the 20th century. The village is recreated circa 1890–1910, a town with over 20 buildings open seasonally for tours and educational programs. The museum is located on a 10-acre site in the beautiful Seminole Valley. Ushers Ferry features nine ADA-accessible historic buildings available for tours that depict life in a small Iowa town between 1890 and 1910. Ushers Ferry Lodge, the gazebo, and the grounds are available to rent for receptions, weddings, parties, business events, and reunions.
