I enjoyed today's tour of the Conde Charlotte house. They have placed representative furniture and decor from various periods in Mobile's history: French, Spanish, British, Antebellum, etc. Great location near the fort. Free parking. Best part was the lovely Spanish-style patio area.
I decided to stop in downtown Mobile and take a look at some of the historic buildings and came upon the Conde Charlotte Museum. What a delightful visit! My tour guides were so knowledgeable and charming. A visit to this beautiful home is well worth time spent in Mobile.
Furnishings were donated & house used to be a jail and boarding house. We Got the Mobile Area Multi-Attraction Pass Includes this and we learned alot.
