I parked at Cravens House and hiked 3.45 hrs to get to point peak, I think that's what it's called. Anyways I hiked alone, trails are very well seen, met plenty of people on the way to the top and it was an amazing view! I will definitely do it again!
Cravens House is free. VERY narrow road going up. Must use GPS leaving area. You’ll end up in private entrances otherwise. Extremely narrow and steep entrance to parking at the house. Gorgeous views from house porch.
I visit here on a weekly basis. Nice parking for multiple trail access. No public restrooms. Slippery when wet. Keep dogs on leashes. Clean up after yourself.
