The National Historic Landmark associates with Elias Boudinot, who lived here from 1772 to 1795. Boxwood Hall State Historic Site was also home to Samuel and Elizabeth Woodruff, Hannah Boudinot, Susan Dayton, and their staff, both free and enslaved.
