"Mattano Park provides a good place for friends and family to practice pitching, batting, or perfecting their sunflower seed spitting. The park has sports areas, a playground, ball fields, and a splash pad. There are kids’ playgrounds, a water spray for kids in the summer, and a skate park. Mattano Park has many big trees that provide shade for a family get-together and a picturesque picnic. Mattano Park’s open fields provide an excellent area to run wind sprints or cut diagonally as you and your friends throw excellent spirals. Kids can jump, slide, and swing on the playground if they are not too busy chasing each other through the trees and kicking up autumn leaves. The park also offers free Wi-Fi access.

MATTANO PARK REVIEWS

This is a pretty cool park that I take my children and my dog to. They have an area for skateboarding as well as a playground areas to have a bbq and restrooms. A lot of room for playing as well as walking.

For the past 16 years that I lived here I have seen alot of work going into this beautiful park. Soccer field, cool shate boarding ramps, 2 baseball fields, half a mile asphalt walkway. Big fun for the entire family.

Three fun parks for kids of various ages. A great turf field for soccer, and two volleyball courts with good nets. Stone tables for chess/board games.

Great clean park ..went there as a kid and it's still a nice fun place for the kids and a clean ..no trouble park..also right next to the train north Elizabeth station ...stop and shop supermarket right behind it and many great restaurants within walking distance...check it out ..and many parking spaces everywhere available around the park.

Great park to bring your kids too or for simply jogging. Park is very clean and has a drug free environment unlike other parks in Elizabeth NJ. Will recommend this one for all your small children plus for self.

This park is nice to walk and jog, not too many people go and i always feel safe there they have a soccer field but is not open to the public. Nice big playground with swings and a big water sprinkler for summer.

This park is very nice to go for a jog as well as play soccer. It is also kid friendly because it has a playground. When the weather gets warmer there is a Rita's truck on the weekends.

This park is Clean, has great atmosphere and gives variety to the kids at play. I come often in the spring and summer. This park also has a sprinkler sys1tem during the summer months.
